Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

Wellness Therapeutics ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy and handling your information — including any health information — with care. This policy explains, in plain English, what we collect through our website, why, and what we do with it.

Who we are

Wellness Therapeutics, based at St Matthew's Wellness Centre, Prudhoe, Tyne Valley. Questions about your information? Contact us at info@wellnesstherapeutics.co.uk or call 07947 444179.

What we collect

Through our "request a call back" form we collect only what you give us:

If you tell us about a pain, injury or condition, that's health information — treated as "special category" data under UK law and handled with extra care. Please share only what you're comfortable putting in a web form; the full picture can be discussed at your appointment.

Why we collect it & our lawful basis

We use your details only to call you back and arrange or advise on physiotherapy care you've asked about. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request prior to providing a service; where you provide health information, we rely on it being necessary for the provision of healthcare and treatment by a regulated professional.

Booking online

If you choose to book an appointment online, that is handled by our booking provider, Cliniko, on their own secure system. Any details you enter there are processed under Cliniko's own privacy terms as our booking and practice-management provider.

Who we share it with

We never sell your data. We use a few trusted providers to run the website and our practice:

Cookies

This website does not use cookies for tracking, analytics or advertising, and we set none of our own. (Our host may set a strictly-necessary security cookie to protect against bots, which doesn't identify you.) Note that if you click through to our online booking, Cliniko's site will use its own cookies.

How long we keep it

Call-back enquiries are kept only as long as needed to deal with your request. If you go on to become a patient, your clinical records are kept securely in line with professional and legal retention requirements for healthcare records.

Your rights

You have the right to ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to object to how we use it. Contact us using the details above. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will appear here with a revised "last updated" date.
